Spring has sprung!

March 1st was the first day of 'Meteorological spring' but usually Spring is thought to start on March 20th - the day of the Spring Equinox (when day and night are equally long). Remember the clocks 'spring' forward on Sunday 30th this year i.e. you loose an hour in bed but gain lighter evenings until October.
