MECG social events and gatherings

One of our Group's aims is to 'foster a sense of belonging and neighbourliness and to work together to improve the area’s social (and physical) environment' so getting together and partying in part of that!

In our first year we organised a BIG LUNCH under the sails near the Triangle and again (BIG PICNIC) in Sparrow Nest Park as part of the Jubilee celebrations in 2022. You can find out about the BIG LUNCH initiative here and peruse some pics of our events (2019 and 2022 - to come). 

We've also organised summer picnics in the park and a Christmas Disco at the Unity Centre (with karaoke for some!)
